A trip with your friends is good for the soul! It doesn’t get very cold in Houston, so going to places with cooler weather is always fun. Breckenridge is a small ski town, but there is so much to do! We had such a blast on this trip and I look forward to going back soon!

Whether you like skiing, shopping, or eating, the options are endless! Not to mention, Colorado is beautiful during any season. This was my first time visiting Colorado and my first time to ever ski! I decided to go to ski school to learn, and I absolutely hated it at first. Eventually, I got the hang of it though and now I love it. Below I’ve listed some of my recommendations for Breckenridge!

Breckenridge, CO

Continental Divide Winery – Good stop for a drink and snacks

Modis Breckenridge – We ate here for dinner, loved the food

Blue River Bistro – Great brunch spot

Finally, after 10 years it snowed in Houston. It’s is a miracle whenever that happens. I absolutely enjoyed the cold and the snow while it lasted.  The best part about it was that I got to dress up in layers for the perfect winter weather.
