We only had a day in Rome since we missed our flight due to bad weather on the East coast we had our trip from Houston – Frankfurt – Rome. We reached Rome in the evening and spent the next day exploring.
This was my first time in Europe. The city is full of history, stunning architecture and delicious food. Even though we had a day to see this beautiful city and saw almost everything on the bucket list : Vatican City ( St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square ), The Colosseum, Galleria Alberto Sordi, Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Altare della Patria, Via del Corso and River Tiber.
Last day we traveled from Rome to Civitavecchia on the train to take our cruise.
